Hey party people!
Have you ever had one of those weeks where there are so many things that go wrong that you just end up laughing about it? That’s the kind of week I’ve had.
I’m honestly shocked at my attitude. There was a brief moment in the Apple store that I almost burst into tears but I held it together and decided to try and see the positive in everything that happened this week.
It’s really amazing at how many positive things there were in the midst of the crazy.
For instance, yesterday a huge metal pole thingy flew up from several cars in front of me (in the lane next to me) and hit my passenger-side window smashing it into a million pieces. Instead of crying and getting upset, I just kept thinking “thank goodness it didn’t hit my front windshield and that no one was in the passenger seat.” Bam…turned my frown upside down.
I never want this blog to turn into Heidi’s Life Stories but I hoped that I could encourage you by reminding you that sometimes you just need to search for the positive in situations. It’s usually there. Maybe not right away…but it usually shows up eventually.
All that to say, I was planning a different post today but my computer is in the hospital being revived back to life so I figured I’d direct you to my post for Mohawk Flooring’s blog, At Creative Home.
Have you ever accidentally mixed up a cliche? Then you’ll probably find this amusing.
I also have a quiz you can take to determine your wrongism aptitude.
You just hold on to your party panties (oh that does not sound good…sorry)…just hold on to your confetti (that’s better) and Parties for Pennies will be back with some fun projects next week!
p.s. This is YOUR official invite to the party… join in on the Parties for Pennies Facebook page, Twitter, and Pinterest!
